Fall has just started and that means winter is right around the corner. Winter weddings are magical and mesmerizing, but with the snow and storms many problems can occur. Here are some tips for your winter wedding to avoid mishaps and to make sure your day goes smoothly. After all we don’t want you to get cold feet on your big day!

1. Invest in winter accessories
It is no doubt going to be cold so be prepared. A leather jacket, faux fur stole, veil are all good options. You can even get a long sleeved wedding dress! For the groom and groomsmen, velvet blazers are the way to go. Not only is it trendy, but also the thick material will provide enough warmth to keep them looking classy.

2. Travel time
Consider extra travel time and plan out your entire day! Just start a few minutes early so in case of any delays you can pull it off without any problems.

3. Check the weather
Check the weather report for your big day. This is essential so you and your guests can be prepared in case of storms or blizzards.

4. Backups
Make sure you have a back-up for essential things. The minister is late? Get one of your friends ordained on the internet! A plan b should be available at any given time to avoid ruining your day.

5. Have just one venue
Keep one venue or 2 venues that are close to each other. This will cut down travelling time and make it easier for everyone! Make sure you keep your bridal party and guests warm at all times!
